How often should I change my Electrolux vacuum cleaner filter?
To maintain peak filter performance in your Electrolux canister or upright, we recommend that you replace the after filter every 6 bag changes. For uprights, you should wash the after bag filter every 6 bag changes and replace it every 6 to 12 months.
What happens if I don't change the filters?
Your vacuum cleaner will lose suction power and eventually stop picking up dirt when the filters are dirty. Clogged filters also place extra strain on the suction motor that may cause premature motor failure and expensive repairs.
